What We Do

We offer orphans and vulnerable children after school care and we educate them about homework, sports activities, drama, traditional dance, so that they must grow well and assist in the eradication of poverty in the community. 

How We Do It

For our work to be sustainable for years to come, forming deep and lasting relationships with community members is essential. Which is why everything we do in the community is through relationship with individuals and other like-minded organisations and partners.

Our Goals

  • To have successful Lounge Centres in Embalenhle, Badplaas and Evander providing physical and psycho social support to orphaned and vulnerable children and youth.
  • To stop hunger in our community.
  • To stress the importance of education and promote literacy.
  • To assist these children & youth to gain a vision for their futures and motivate them to go back to school. 
  • To maintain the maximum level of comfort, function and health for the aged, disabled and terminally ill.
  • To empower and equip local community members, to take care of orphaned and vulnerable children and the sick in their community.

Mission

Our mission is to provide security, feeding, care, emergency shelter, psychosocial and educational support services, development and life changing services to the abused, neglected, vulnerable, disadvantaged and marginalized children and youths of South Africa.

Vision

To provide and promote superior care, world class development and limitless support to children and youths who are abused, neglected, vulnerable, disadvantaged and marginalized in the Republic of South Africa.

KITSO L. MOJADIBE

CHAIRPERSON

Kitso is a young Media graduate from Boston Media House, have great passion and desire for communicating, informing and educating people through all sorts of mediums. His a hardworking, self-motivated, driven and a team player, and his goal is to basically learn and conquer any challenge presented to him, to also bring fresh and innovative solutions to any environment.

He was also granted the opportunity to be Chief Company Coordinator for a company called SNSET institute, this opening saw him a learn professionalism, time management, communication skills and networking amongst other things; this was done through meeting investors and attending corporate events.

GCINA N. DLAMINI

COORDINATE MANAGER

Gcina ‘Kumar’ Dlamini is a well organised, systematic and have strong interpersonal skills which make him an asset for any organization, He is a CEO to one of the leading Engineering & Cleaning company in Gauteng & Mpumalanga (April Fresh SA) and he is a qualified Safety Officer and holds a Diploma in Business Management and he is an enthusiastic business consultants, and has work for Peosperity as a bookkeeper, a person who is quick to grasp new ideas and creative to solutions and enjoys being part of successful team and reliability, with hard work as a cornerstone to his personal and professional growth.

UNATHI B. MBANGA

VICE-CHAIRPERSON

Unathi is a recognized thought leader focused on the roles of young people throughout society. His focus includes youth engagement, youth voice, and youth engagement throughout communities, as well as meaningful student involvement, student voice and student engagement in schools.

DELLY N. DLAMINI

TREASURER

Delly started her career 10 years ago sweeping floors and working at ground level for many years working my way up to director to owner. Ground level working has been the key to my design and manufacturing success as am have a greater understanding of the full manufacturing process. Specialties: grant writing, fundraising, volunteer management, public speaking, event planning, social media. I am passionate about developing products from design to market delivery. Expertise: programme/project design, monitoring/evaluation, strategic planning and resource mobilization. She also worked for Peosperity Financial & Tax Consultants as a bookkeeper and a business consultants and have experience in the finance department and management post.

LUNGILE P. SHILI

GENERAL SECRETARY

Lungile is a experienced/qualified registered nurse and qualified middle management private healthcare in South Africa. She holds a Diploma in General Nursing in community psychiatry Midwifery Science Specialize in Counselling, HIV/Aids and various fields.

Lungile is a very bubbly and talkative person, who likes to be around people with positive minds. And very ambitious person whose always willing to learn new things and self driven.  

 

 

 

 

HAPPY J. SELEPE

Happy J. Selepe (Deeptonic_live) is a well organised, systematic and have strong interpersonal Happy is a well organised, systematic and have strong interpersonal skills which make him an asset for any organization. He is a CEO to one of the leading Engineering & Cleaning company in Gauten Happy Justin Selepe is an entrepreneur, a Dj born and bred in Embalenhle, Mpumalanga with an ambition and drive to succeed. Living in a small industrial town, Happy always had that entrepreneurial spirit of seeing opportunities at a young age as he was selling snacks and sweets in high school to then growing into owning a Music Record Label named Audiophile Music also he is a managing director for Delepco (Pty) Ltd. Happy plans to do more for the community through his work with MYCO and make our community a better place to live in. 

DINEO SELEPE

VOLUNTEER EDUCATOR

Dineo holds a diploma in management admin and in computer literacy. She is very good with kids and in the following department: Sales & marketing, motor mechanic, computer literacy, plumbing, carpentry. She is a multilingual individual with good communication & management skills, pro-active & energetic towards every task, a team worker and also self demeanor. Isa person who believes that there’s progress in everyone, every time and everywhere since there’s a solution in every problem.

NOMFUNDO O. TAPIWA GAMEDZE

EDUCATOR COORDINATOR

Tapiwa is a qualified special needs educator, with a degree in special education which she obtained in the University of Science in Pedagogy in Pinar del Rio, Cuba. And she’s a business developer and currently doing her final year in Masters of Educational Psychology in the University of Eswatini.
