Mpumalanga Youth Council Organisation was founded in 2010 and became registered in 2015 as a non-profit organization in Mpumalanga, South Africa. It was established with a mandate to help and support disadvantaged children, youth, sustain livelihoods and human rights for the most vulnerable members of the community. The vulnerable children & youth may be orphaned, neglected, school dropouts, abandoned or simply living in acute poverty and are frequently affected by the ravages of HIV/AIDS.
What We Do
Emotional Support
Catering for counselling. Referrals to the Department of Social Services. To assess the children’s needs and challenges.
Educational Support
Supervised after school program. Literacy and provision of school stationary and school uniforms.
Physical Support
Children are fed cooked meals daily. Clothing & Food are donated and distributed. Personal Hygiene items are distributed.
